There are three predefine account types: Administrators, Users, and Viewers. Administrators manage all the users, documents, and groups. Users can be assigned to upload, modify, and approve documents. Viewers can only access and download files.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>For this guide, we will create the following user accounts:\n<ol>\n<li>An account with the username\u00a0<em>Staff<\/em>and account type\u00a0<em>Viewer<\/em><\/li>\n<li>An account with the username\u00a0<em>Writer<\/em>and account type\u00a0<em>User<\/em><\/li>\n<li>An account with the username\u00a0<em>Approver<\/em>and account type\u00a0<em>User<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>From the admin menu, select the \u2018<strong>Manage Users<\/strong>\u2019 option<\/li>\n<li>Click the \u2018<strong>Add User<\/strong>\u2019 heading to reveal the registration form<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-166 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/doccontrol.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/UserManagement-DocumentManagement-219x300.png\" alt=\"Document Control\" width=\"219\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/plus91hq.plus91online.com\/doccontrol\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/UserManagement-DocumentManagement-219x300.png 219w, https:\/\/plus91hq.plus91online.com\/doccontrol\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/UserManagement-DocumentManagement.png 470w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 219px) 100vw, 219px\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Enter any name and provide a valid email address.\n<ol>\n<li>A verification link to activate the account will be sent to the email address.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Fill in the form in accordance to the users specified at the top<\/li>\n<li>Log into each email and click on the verification link to activate the respective account and complete the registration process.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The majority of your users will fall under the\u00a0<em>User<\/em>\u00a0or\u00a0<em>Viewers<\/em>\u00a0account type.
